Natural History Museum of LA County

A few months ago we went and checked out the Pavilion of Wings at the Natural History Museum of LA County.  It was just amazing!  I love the varieties of butterflies there and I was able to identify a few.  Of course, they’re weren’t hard to identify because I just matched them to the sign that they posted there.  There were a few weird names that I saw and they also had the Monarch Butterfly there.  See the details on this butterfly?  Beautiful, isn’t it?

As a treat to me, at least, I was able to see the paleontologist at work in their Dinosaur lab.  Yup!  I saw one working on an ancient bone!  See, they had a lab that can be accessed by visitors. Oh, we weren’t allowed to get in but we can see them against the clear glass.  They are fixing up their Dino exhibit and they will open in 2010 which is soooo exciting for me.  Okay, I’m on geek mode again! hehehehe

Compare Satellite TV!

With the move to digital TV last June, everyone has been clammoring for more high definition TV.  Of course, many companies are offering high definition and a lot of channels are also going high definition so it would seem like everyone is already on the hi-def bandwagon.  With larger TV screens available in the market today, high definition is sounding more sweeter everyday, isn’t it?

But did you know that the Kaptain Satellite Site helps you find awesome deals, promotions and other packages offered by Directv?  How about Directv vs. Dish?  Yup, you can find that there and decide for yourself which one works within your budget!  Cool isn’t it?!
